Catalyst IT has launched an innovative online address verification and correction service called PureData.
The new service is NZ Post SendRight certified and built with the same technology provided by Catalyst to maintain New Zealand's electoral roll. Puredata is designed to be self-service, allowing business and organisations of any size to check and correct their address data to NZ Post standards.
NZ Post offer generous discounts on bulk mail but will be requiring mail lists to meet address accuracy standards by July 2008.
The benefits of accurate address data go beyond postage discounts. Having a single authoritative address for your customers means you can consolidate datasets within your organisation and de-duplicate customer records. You also know that your mail is going out to genuinely deliverable address.
