Electoral Enrolment Centre
Catalyst was awarded a three-year contract to design, develop, host and maintain the EEC's core electoral roll management system. The system maintains voter registration details, electoral boundaries and related data for both national and local body elections.
Outsourced services we now provide are:
- Application Support and Maintenance
- Primary System Hosting and Administration
- Remote administration at a secondary site
- Hardware Support and Maintenance
- Security monitoring and management
- Network Support and Maintenance
- Remote management of hardware and applications
- End-to-end System & Network, Management and monitoring
- Desktop support for 100 Linux desktops - a Debian-based distribution that we have customised for EEC.
As you can see, our responsibilities are many and varied, with a great deal of activity happening around local body and general elections, enrolment update campaigns, and enrolment database matching exercises with other agencies.
And yes, open source technologies are used throughout.
