Catalyst have a team dedicated to supporting software for the library and information sector, primarily with Koha library management system. The team have have a busy workload and are looking for an administrator with a customer service focus to keep things running smoothly.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with drafting quotes and contracts and maintain documentation.
- Prepare invoicing data and project and team reports as required.
- Ensure that team members record their timesheets as required and maintain the team work schedule.
- Manage small projects and BAU tasks, potentially taking on more responsibility in time.
- Be flexible about changing tasks and working with other teams and deal openly and honestly with customers and fellow staff.
You will fit well into this role if you have strong organisational and communication skills, are detail-oriented, can work with minimum management and take responsibility for allocated tasks but also understand when to ask for help and communicate clearly about your progress. You’ll need to understand both customer and team goals and be able to work collaboratively to achieve these.
If you have experience with libraries and information management, and/or open source software, this is a huge plus.
