Catalyst tops NBR poll

Catalyst has been top-ranked in the National Business Review's search for New Zealand's most exciting companies. With an "excitement index" of 66.5%, Catalyst ranked above several well-known IT players, including industry giants like Microsoft.

The rating, based on a poll of 20 executives and business owners, was conducted by strategic business consultancy company New River.

In the NBR article "Open source fires Catalyst to front" (NBR, 29 February 2008, p22), Graeme Kennedy describes Catalyst as "New Zealand's biggest open-source solution provider" in a computer services sector of more than 8500 firms and 18% growth over the last three years.
