A new version of Moodle, the open source course management system used by millions of people all over the globe, was released on the 18 November. The new release, 2.6, includes several new features developed by Catalyst.
Following the release of the newest version of Mahara, the open source ePortfolio solution, these new features were rolled out to more than 1,400 New Zealand schools that use Mahara as MyPortfolio.school.nz.
A new version of Mahara, the open source ePortfolio software, was released on 24 October 2013. Catalyst IT is the maintainer of the Mahara project, but every release sees contributions from all over the open source world.
