Catalyst goes to the Zoo

2020-02-26

by Chloe Gunn

Yesterday was Catalyst’s bi-annual client and staff celebration ZooDoo – which is exactly what it sounds like, a party at the Zoo.

This is a great chance for us to invite all our clients, our staff and their families to come together, look at and learn about Wellington Zoo’s animals, eat some tasty kai and enjoy some live music.

Jamie Watterson, a developer at Catalyst, said “the animals were great, the food was great, the weather held up. All in all 12/10.”

Sam Hughes, from the Department of Internal Affairs, said "It was a really fun experience - very different to other corporate functions! Great fun socialising with colleagues, whilst getting to spend time with the animals too!”

Jess Thompson, Sales and Bids Coordinator at Catalyst, said “the fact that is family orientated and that we could visit the Zoo when it was closed, allowed us to get up and close with the animals and experience the zoo in a whole new way.”

If you want ‘Zoodoo’ to be part of your work, do keep an eye on our careers page.
