Catalyst was proud to sponsor the Laser Nationals that took place from Friday 22nd until Monday 25th January 2021. Ninety-four entrants came from all over New Zealand, from Bluff to the Bay of Islands.

It was an exciting windy whirlwind, with one day being blown out due to winds reaching 40 knots on the course!
The sole international visitor, who happened to be here from Sweden to launch a satellite via Rocket Lab in Mahia, was astounded by the winds but loved every moment of it.
As for the National results, Rio Olympic bronze medallist Sam Meech won the Men's National Championship, showing us all that hard work and determination pay off.
