"Pleasure in the job puts perfection in the work" - Aristotle

Over 160 people already registered. 3 days of presentations. Speakers from 11 countries.

KohaCon16, the international conference of the Koha ILS community, is shaping up to be one of the most exciting yet.

Conference highlights

The conference will be hosted by Aristotle University (Greece's largest University) in Thessaloniki. Conference presentation days will run from 30 May to 1 June 2016, followed by a hackfest.

Koha conferences run on one presentation track, an essential ingredient to making this the global community event that brings Koha libraries and developers together, so effective.

There will be a much-anticipated presentation from the implementers of the world's largest shared Koha installation, running across 1126 libraries in Turkey. It is possibly the largest example of libraries working together, ever.

Chris Cormack from Catalyst IT will be attending, and will co-present the first conference session covering Koha history with Paul Poulain from Biblibre, and again on the last day, on Growing the Koha Community.

It's traditional for attendees to have a day trip out together between the conference presentation days and hackfest, another opportunity to connect and build relationships for the people who collaborate as users and developers of Koha software throughout the year.
