You'll gain an understanding of how it works and how to integrate with a team already using it.
 
HTML / CSS fundamentals - Monday 15 February - 3/4 day - $570 (ex gst)
Come and learn about HTML and CSS, the building blocks of the web. Learn how to identify different types of content for the web, and convert it into semantic, accessible HTML.  We’ll teach you the basics of presentation — how to set up base styles, and work up to more specific CSS. By the end, you will have styled your own web page.  The course is hands on so you’ll get a chance to have a go yourself, with the support you need to help you if you get stuck.
 
Introduction to Shell and Shell scripting - Wednesday 17 February - 1 day - $760 (ex gst)
Learn to use the Linux shell with us. This course teaches basic commands and simple shell scripting. Shell scripting allows the automation of collections of shell commands. Attendees gain practical experience using the commands as they encounter them, then exercise their new skills by writing simple shell scripts.

This hands-on introductory course will teach you from scratch how to use React, one of the most popular JavaScript libraries for building 
high performance single page applications.
 
Deploying applications in the cloud using Ansible - Thursday 25 February - 1 day - $760 (ex gst)

This workshop will provide a "hands-on" experience in using Ansible to manage a load balanced web application. We will see how to use modules for provisioning hosts and installing software dependencies. We will explore how to use inventories, groups, delegation and handlers to configure and orchestrate all the components of a running application. We will then look at strategies for upgrading applications and demonstrate how to perform rolling upgrades with zero downtime.

 
Configuration Management and Automation using Puppet - Introduction - 2 March  - 1 day - $760 (ex gst)
If you want to learn how to use Puppet for configuration management and automation, or you've been put in charge of an established Puppet infrastructure, this is the course for you. This course is suitable for complete beginners and those with very limited experience – we run other courses for more experienced users.
