What is WCAG?

Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) are global guidelines for making digital spaces accessible to everyone.

1 in 6 New Zealanders are disabled.(external link) By improving web accessibility the user experience is improved for everyone – whether they use a screen reader, keyboard navigation, or other assistive technologies.

As of March 2025, the NZ Government Web Standards have been updated so government organisations must comply with WCAG 2.2 Level AA ensuring their services are accessible.

Client success stories

When conducting a user experience redevelopment, Inland Revenue wanted to ensure the site was accessible for everyone.

We are proud to have supported their work with an accessibility audit, creating a strong foundation for future development.
